Sanoa is founded by Sarah, an architectural engineer and interior designer with 10 years of experience across high-end hospitality, retail and residential projects. She spent six years with LVMH Hotel Management as Design Director, overseeing the design and development of Cheval Blanc’s luxury hotels, resorts and palaces worldwide.

Based between Indonesia and Europe, Sarah brings together a strong understanding of architecture, interior design and project development, with experience taking projects from programming and concept development through to coordination, construction and completion. Her background combines creative direction with a rigorous understanding of budgets, timelines, technical coordination and execution.

Today, Sanoa is a Bali-based interior design studio creating tailor-made interiors for residential and hospitality projects. The studio offers interior design and client representation, alongside furniture design and procurement services worldwide.

Sanoa creates interiors where comfort, exclusivity and craftsmanship come together. Spaces are designed to feel refined yet effortless, with a strong sense of character and a careful balance between functionality, atmosphere and detail. Bespoke elements, considered materials and unexpected touches bring individuality to each project, creating spaces that feel both personal and memorable.

The surrounding environment is an integral part of the design process. Climate, location, locally sourced materials and craftsmanship all inform the way each project is conceived. Working closely with local artisans and trusted partners allows Sanoa to create interiors that are deeply connected to their surroundings — a strong sense of place expressed through contemporary design, natural materials and thoughtful craftsmanship.
