Set within the lush jungle of Lodtunduh, Chilling Monkeys was conceived as a peaceful retreat in a modern Balinese style, inspired by the relaxed spirit of Bali and the feeling of a tropical holiday home. A restrained palette of beige, grey, and natural wood is paired with woven rattan and wicker, bringing warmth and texture while allowing the surrounding landscape to remain at the heart of the experience. A series of custom-designed pieces — from sofas and tables to desks, shelving, wardrobes, and benches — gives the interiors a considered yet effortless character. Facing the river and jungle, the flowing swimming pool further connects the spaces to their natural surroundings, creating a home that feels quiet, grounded, and deeply connected to its setting.
